Hello to any new readers!

I just thought, as we have a new crop date coming up soon, I would post a little information for anyone who may be finding this site for the first time.  First of all...welcome!

A little about our crops: the location is Central United Church, corner of Church and Queen Street in Moncton.  We meet in the basement and I always put a sign on the door so you know which door to use. Your crop fee includes morning coffee/tea and snacks, all day pop and water, and lunch. I always have door prizes and so far everyone has won a prize, some bigger and some smaller ones.

To answer a question I sometimes get: I do not have a store there or tools to buy or use. Usually anyone there is happy to share tools they have (punches, etc.) if someone needs them, but there is nothing structured. It's just a day to get out, scrapbook or make cards or whatever you enjoy to do, along with a group of friendly women.

To register: you can call me (Pam) or you can post a comment here on this blog. To do so, you will need to have a Blogger or Google account and this is easy and free to get by following the instructions on this page. Click on the orange "B" symbol to begin. Also you will not find your comment appear right away as I have to approve them first.  This is for your own security.  If you want to register you can safely leave me your name and email address in your comment and I will not post it. It will come straight to my email.  If you have a general comment without personal information I will post it. Make sense?

Menu:  I am planning on having a chicken and vegetable pot pie with rolls and cookies for dessert.  Please let me know if you have any food allergies when you register. (There will be no mushrooms). Morning snacks will be mini-muffins or similar with cheese and fruit.  We use organic fair-trade coffee and I make regular black tea but feel free to bring along different tea if you prefer that.

Hope to see you on Saturday March 25 and/or April 25.  I am also planning a "yard sale" at the church for May 16 so if you want to sell some of your excess scrapbooking supplies (or buy some) keep that date in mind.  Please let me know if you would like to reserve a table at a cost of $25.  You keep what you make.

Pam
